Pistols Only

Grunt, Jex and I were on the seeding the server earlier today and we decided to try pistols only just because we were bored and wanted a bit more craziness. It's actually a pretty fun way to pass time with very few players. Engagements were closer and it was generally acceptable to run around in the open because you know any shooter will likely miss.

I suggest players seeding should try this out until the server fills out.

I think I joined in as you guys were finishing up with the pistol only rounds. I of course didn't realise this and brought out the M60. Talk about bringing a gun to a knife fight

I would be all for doing some maps with pistols only if the numbers are low. Even pistols and shotguns only would be fun.

I think i might be able to adjust settings to only allow pistols, maybe one night a week or when its requested might be fun

A pistol party! I can see this going over well and creating some fun rounds. Now I need to work on getting some more pistols unlocked.

The gold shotgun in this game looke more like a "mustard shotgun". I was also sad to see the gold SVD is more of a bronze color.

Stupid COD4 needs to work on their pimp gold skins.

Ditching the shotgun would be good. A shotgun/pistols match would be pretty rough. The fun of pistols is that the juggernaut perk can sometimes help. Even without juggernaut, it can take a few shots to take someone down.

I have had so little sucess with the shotgun that I just assumed they would be fine. Straight pistol power is fine with me. My trusty .45 can punch a mean looking hole in someone, until I get a Desert Eagle of course

yeah, pistols only on the HC server would be like regular play but maybe a little less accurate and less ranged

Played a few 'pistols only' games this afternoon on the H/C S&D server. It was different and pretty fun. Got a few knife kills also.

Yeah those were good rounds. The dreaded "boat map" is actually a ton of fun with only a few people + pistols only.

I was pleasantly surprised. I usually don't like that map, but it was boat loads of fun. =)
