How come the MP44 has no upgrades?

No red dot/GL/ACOG?

Is it for balance issues or some other reason?

I honestly believe that the MP44 was just thrown in as a callback to the cod's of the past.
But it is a game and perhaps some effort could have been made to make some customizability to the weapon. That said I don't believe the mp44 was made beyond the end of WWII. This would also lead to the limited or non-existent aftermarket for silencers or scopes on a MP-44.

They should give the MP44 a monocle scope for an upgrade.

I don't really care for it either. Recoil is crazy and most other weapons I can tap the mouse and let one or two rounds go, but this one always shoots off more than I want.

I like his gun, but would love it much more if it had a red-dot scope (or possibly an ACOG)

maybe that would make the difference, but I use the silencer mostly.
