HQ: Setting up killzones
Part of playing HQ is to recognize the entry points into the current HQ zone and to set up kill zones that ultimately slow down the advancing army. In this screenshot, you can see us supporting the HQ which is located in the "Mosque" (Mosque is a poor name for it, as it's a park of sorts) by protecting the flank through the cafe. This cafe is an area that is typically used to shield attackers who can pick off defenders. The Cafe has one entrance in and the lead in is generally predictable. There is a small chance that someone will see Bobby as he is hidden in plain sight. Once someone enters the room, Bobby and myself were able to dispatch them quickly to allow us to keep this flank secure with only 2 people. This is a self supported killzone that is designed entirely around supporting the objective (HQ defense).
![]() What other examples are out there? Please note: For a different discussion, you can discuss whether or not Bobby should be able to stand on the bottom of the tables, I don't believe he should be either but feel he should be able to place himself on the table at the least. Lucky Shot |

Re: HQ: Setting up killzones
For defending the Mosque, you could also go up in the 2nd floor at the Apartments, and in that Car Garage that is just on the other side of that screenshot.
There's boatloads of them, but as a general rule of thumb, don't go in prime grenade zones ![]()

Re: HQ: Setting up killzones
Best way to defend a zone is to setup blocking position at major choke points, if you defend the aeras they must exit then they cant hit you with a grenade because their view is limited of the danger aera they are about to enter. defend by fire sector more so than physically putting yourself in a position that can be over run.
