WeGame AV recorder

www.WeGame.com

Anyone used it yet? I can't get it to record anything but my Mic (no in-game sounds). Any help?

Here's how my sound config looks:

FWIW, I have the same issue when using fraps...

How is your mic connected? Through a traditional sound card or USB headset adapter?

Re: WeGame AV recorder

Soundcard... well it's a laptop, so I guess it's all sorta integrated. Also - that screen cap isn't 100% accurate: When Line-in is selected, there's no sound recorded. When Mic is selected, I get <drumroll>... just the mic.

Re: WeGame AV recorder

You running on Vista ?

WeGame Q&A

http://www.wegame.com/page/help/

I don't have sound in my videos.
The WeGame client records sound from your sound card's "Stereo Mix" device. There are several reasons that your videos would not have sound:

- Your sound card does not have a Stereo Mix or equivalent (sometimes called "What U Hear") device. This is controlled by your sound card drivers.

- Stereo Mix is disabled by default on Vista.
Instructions on how to enable Stereo Mix on Vista
http://www.downloadsquad.com/2007/01...ding-in-vista/

- Your Stereo Mix is not outputting any sound. This is controlled by your sound card drivers.

We apologize if the WeGame client is not recording sound for you at this time. Check back soon for updates that may resolve this situation!

I just checked and WeGame does not record with frontlines
It does record with the supported games, ie the channels on their website

Re: WeGame AV recorder

My previous sound drivers didn't support the "Stereo Mix", but I got lucky. They began to support it in a later update.

Find out what the chipset is for your laptop's sound card and see if the manufacturer has any newer drivers for it.

Re: WeGame AV recorder

I'm having the same problem as whiskey. I'm running XP. Could some tell me how I find out what my sound card is? In my dxdiag it just says SignaTel Audio. Also how do I figure out if it supports Stereo Mix?

Any help would be great.
