Wii Through Reciever Question

Hey Folks.. headache here.. I am trying to route my Wii console using the standard Composite video cables through my LG DVD/Reciever to my HD TV... What i get is no Video out but sound does play through the receiver (I'm using like AV1) ..
I route my DVD to the TV with Component cables and that works fine.. SO it's like an issue between the Wii and the TV.. (AKA The LG Receiver).. If I connect the Wii video directly to the TV Composite then I get a picture.... ..

Tried to set my Wii for HD video but it's greyed out I assume because of my cables...

It sounds silly, but is the LG box turned on when you try to use the Wii?

The way the audio route works is probably just like an extension of the wire, whereas routing video requires the LG Box would be turned on.
