Making of Crash

Found this video, thought I would post it here.

"This video shows how the Crash map of the video game Call of Duty 4 was made from scratch."

Nah, I like it here, maybe this can get some people motivated. I gave a stab at the Wiki and the mod tools, and I just don't understand it enough.

Re: Making of Crash

Oh I see how it is... I post the Original link, and no one posts... now it's reposted and my time and effort is thrown out the back door.

I'm sad.

I like the comments under the video. "No wonder cod4 maps feel so linear" and then "any map with 2 spawn points would feel linear"

Re: Making of Crash

I've got as far as the legal pad and sketch, now what?

I have never done any modding or mapping. Is the program user friendly enough that I could create a terrain and start plopping objects down or is it a lot of code?

I was hoping it was going to be easier, as it was stated, but really...the Sandbox2 editor seems easier.

There was also a mod tools update released.
So you may want to read the thread on the IW boards about that.
Gotta get to work or I would explain more.
I should be online later tonight if anyone wants to put their heads together and get this figured out.
