PunkBuster problems

Anyone having PB problems tonight?

I keep getting kicked after 2 min. with error
"ignoring MD5TOOL Queries".

I tried manually updating PB to
version 2.037 A1394

It worked fine last night.

Thanks

your putting the pbsetup file in the pb folder in the cod4 directory yes? if not thats the problem. i fixed this error also.. it was due to their little update.

Re: PunkBuster problems

Since you already ran the pb update. After doing some browsing I came across the following two mentions of a possible cause of your problem.

Do you have a wireless router you use for your home network?
Another idea I came across was to update your video card drivers... will it help some say it does.

Re: PunkBuster problems

I put the pbsec.htm file in the PB folder under COD4.

That did not seem to do anything, so I downloaded pbsetup.exe ran that, added my game and checked for updates (which it did find and apply).

However, I still can't seem to stay in a game longer than 2 min.

Rhino, how did you fix yours.

Yes, I do have a wireless router, but I am running this pc wired.

Thanks
