sniping spot

found this one last night.. by the WC main:

If you hold subway and tent-city, you're fairly safe... It gives AMAZING overwatch of tent city.. gives you great ability to defend... especially as air-strike role:

anyone got any other good spots?

Re: sniping spot

From your vantage point right there, I've seen people get up behind the Monument CP in the buildings off to the left. I can get up in the lower floor, but have NO idea how they get up in the floor above that.

Just for clarification, the spot is on the same edge of the map as the one you're on.

Re: sniping spot

to get up there, you walk along the edge of a broken wall - it's under the tip of my rifle in the first picture... it looks like a ramp. From there you go into the building, down the hall and then out onto the fire ladder.

Yeah, scarface, from the fire escape, you can somehow jump down into the building towards the subway CP... you end up in like a balcony type thing where you can walk all the way to the east side of the map.

Re: sniping spot

I think all people who play sniper and sit and stay in same spot all game should sit in the corner of a very dark room and pray for forgivness!!

Not directing this at you Whiskey.

Last night I had to contend with 2 people who did just this. I mean what is the point, ok if it was in real life and you had to to defend yourself and your base thats fine. But to join a game to constantly sit in 1 maybe 2 places ALL game and snipe snipe snipe, then after the round ends, guess what.......

Some people

Re: sniping spot

That's why being countermeasures role as sniper is a good idea - drone's can't spot you. And if you're defending a flag - this is a great way to do it! (that flag anyway)

Re: sniping spot

yea, if you can defend a flag, it doesn't matter how you do it. Defending a flag is still working with the team. I do believe I know what your talking about though, the sniper who camps a spot and is just out to get kills, regardless of what his team is doing or needing.

I can take it if they are working as a team to achieve a goal.

I can't however as you said when they just camp a spot for kills regardless of his team doing or needing, that I find highly annoying.

If they want to do that, in my oppinion they should'nt be playing a multiplayer game.

Whiskey..if you jump down the stairs of the fire escape to the piece that hangs straight out

turn left jump up into the building

and follow the edge of the building around you can go all the way down to the end of that building

you can cover that whole alley up to the monument
