Recieved my COD4 couple of days ago.

All that comes with it is a 10 page manual.That doesn't tell you much.I'd like to know what some of the settting mean under the options in video.Did everyone else just get that little book to?Wondering because i got it on ebay for 20 bucks,new.Everything is new but the box seemed to be open at one point.I'm running min requirement right now,so I was wondering what in video do I really need?

I meant things like:
Specular Map
Glow
Number of Dynamic Lights
Soften Smoke
Edges
Rag Doll

I can't help you on all of these, but: Glow is just a thing to make tha game prettier, it makes things that should be glowing (like embers from a fire) look better.
Dynamic lights are, I think, lights that affect the game by making shadows or nice visual effects instead of just making you able to see.
Soften smoke edges makes smoke look more realistic and less 2D or pixellated.
Rag doll is where bodies go flying after being hit by bullets or caught in explosions. I'm not sure if this is system intensive or not, I think it is just an option, similar to blood effects.
