I swear there was a hack/cheat on TG's POE server last night....

Numerous times while defending, a player would infiltrate the perimiter and get to flag... with a blue tag. The blue tag did not jive with the player arm patch. I Was Ukraine and they were German.

I once had that happen where friendlies were RED. mostly Khaerus. I shot him like 4 times.

I can't remember but it might have required a reinstall of POE2, but then again maybe just a reboot (PC and Game).

Take a look at the battlerecorder file for that round. If you see something that confirms your suspicion or does not look right then it is easier for the BF Admins to go to that file at the place and location you give to investigate it.
If something is wrong, they will take the appropriate action.

never having used BR... point me at some documentation and I'll take a look. I want to make sure I am not going mad... because it was very frustrating.

Figured out BR... it's in game, not external as I had assumed. Anyways, i tried to DL the file but it came back not found even though I can see it in the list.

Didn't notice anything odd whilst playing last night, was on the server for a good 4-5 hours too.

I believe this is the same red tag bug. It can happen either way but the blue enemy is a lot more rare. I have experienced it before perhaps 2x since I have been playing BF2 but seen the red tag dozens of times.

I remember that well- by the 3rd time, I was growling, lol... You even shot me as I was trying to explain it to you...

But yeah, usually a restart of the game takes are of that bug.

Once I was shot like 4 times by my squad mates because it was no tag at all over me. It is normal bug for BF2.

I shoot my squadmates all the time, red tag, blue tag, it doesn't matter. That'll teach them to respawn next to me and scare me.

You guys should play PR for a bit, then youll get used to identifying enemies by other means (uniform, gun, vehicle, ect...) and not the tags.

I was on the server Sat night for the first time in a while and had a blast playing with everyone. PoE is just arcady enough to make dieing much less stressful than PR and boy are you guys spoiled with all your tags and maps and spotting and one-man tanks... :P

PR was all fun and games until they took away my minimap and spotting ability.
