Could you explain what this is please. Is it a match where everybody is a sniper? What maps? Is it S&D or FFA or what?

Sure. It's Team Death Match and everyone is a sniper. As far as maps go, the set rotation hasn't been established yet. But there will be 5 rounds. If you have any more questions, please let me know. Thanks!

Um...that doesn't sound like a lot of fun and really goes against how TG plays.

We really don't "do" FFA or TDM here (hence the name "Tactical Gamer"

)..but there might certainly be some of the guys here that are really good with scoped weapons that might want to join in on the fun maybe.

Sniper matches can be team oriented if you play like a........ team. I take it you guys that haven't played on good sniper servers wouldn't know that though.

Most "sniper maps" are separated by sides, one team spawns on one side and the other team on the opposite side. So you are trying to snipe the other team...... there is no close combat.

On good sniper servers you will find a lot of teamwork, as far as players calling out locations of OPFOR, so you can essentially use teamwork and tactics, which are part of TG's fundamental structure.

Just because it's not an "objective based game-type" doesn't mean it doesn't fit into the principals of what TG is about. It's how you play the game.....

I'd think about getting a team together for this event, but that's Memorial Day Weekend and I should definitely not be sitting in front of my computer...... breathing outside air is on my agenda for that weekend.
