Due to low numbers in our recent check-in, many Irregulars have been dropped from the roster! This means that there is now room for new recruits.

Check the Irregulars forums, read the first post in the recruitment thread sticky and check-in with |30+|SirShotAlot when you've read the required stuff! If you are a former Irregular who wants to re-enroll, PM SSA, but preference will not be given to former Irregs, sorry--first come, first served.

The Puffy Shirt Mob

There's no better way to let the world know about your bold fashion sense than to bravely don the puffy shirt in public. But, you still worry about the stares you'd receive if you went out in public. Well, at the Irregs, we have a fearless group of puffy shirt wearers that are ready to back you up at anytime! You may seem odd if you're the only one in a puffy shirt, but when you're with the Irregs, the ones without the puffy shirts are the oddballs.

In addition to our puffy shirt solidarity, the Irregs offers camaraderie for those who want a deeper TG experience but who have yet to find their spot with one of the In House Squads (IHS). The Supporting Membership requirement for particapation in IHS is waived so that TG members can preview the IHS style of life even if they can't make as strong a commitment as required by the IHS.

Also, not all puffy shirts are quite the same! We are currently in the process of restructuring our members into game based platoons to provide tight-knit groups of players that can get to know each other and have their own personality. The Irregs are dedicated to helping new members find places where they fit in. There are plenty of opportunities coming up for members to get involved and to find their nice! The Irregs are looking for enthusiastic recruits who want to get the most out of their TG experience by taking active parts in the crew!

If you're looking for a group to revive airy, ruffled tops with your or just a group to casually game with, the Irregs could be for you!


Travel the High Seas and See the TG World

The Irregs are a great way to preview the different facets of the TG community! We are often invited to special events organized in specific games or by IHS squads. Affiliation with the Irregs sometimes also gives members access to events with limited spots or otherwise closed events.

Also, IHS squads often look to the Irregs when they are in the mood for recruiting. One of the main goals of the Irregulars is to acclimate members to the TG community and to make them ready for participation in IHS as representative members of the community. Thus, the Irregs have a reputation for providing upstanding, involved TG members that in turn give back to the community through involvement in the IHS squads or in the administration. I highly recommend the Irregs, sure you have to live with all those smelly pirates but you get booty!!!

I don't know for sure but I think over half the 3rd SFD was once Irregs, if you look real closely 3rd SFD is spelled thirrd SFD.

aside from all the great booty the Irregs offer that next step up in teamwork here at TG so if you land lovers burn for more go be a pirate!!!

Only 2 things are holding me back from applying, which is; one, I'm not actually playing 2142 right now, I'm taking a pretty long time off, which stated in early January, and is ending late June.

Secondly, I'd like to be able to commit my time and dedication if I were to join the Irregs, but I'm often taking breaks like this from the game (although this is my longest one ever), so I don't think I should apply just yet. I hope I can find a time where I'll be able to find the time to commit to the Irregs, (I have been looking through the irreg forums quite a bit lately, give my regards to fetterman, and tell him not to club too many OAP's over the head ) and I hope you have space when I do, but until then, I'll have to wait on the sidelines.

Any regular 2142 players who are not already in an IHS, it's time to become an irregular 2142 player. Good luck, it's a hell of an opportunity, there are a lot of people who have been waiting to get into the Irregs for a long time, as the roster has been full to the brim for a while.

also, the irrs is an IHS for people who either cant afford Supporting or who want a casual place to play with a more closed off group of people....

so dont let devotion totally sway you.

also, dont worry about not playing a certain game, the irrs pretty much cover all games....

The irregs provide a great place to get involved in more organized games. Those of you interested in taking your tactics and teamplay to the next level should strongly consider joining up. There is no supporting membership requirement. Most in house squads keep a close eye out for the |TG-Irr| tag when looking to bolster their ranks. When an Irr becomes a supporting member it usually is not too long afterwards that we see them with an IHS tag. Here's to seeing more pirates squads on the server.

Yh, this really is a great opportunity. So many people want to join the Irregs that a lot of the time there isn't always space. Now that there's space and the Irr are recruiting, consider yourselves lucky, apply for a position and hope you get it .

I'd also like to see guys like June2142 and HBrutusH (just to name a couple names) applying for these positions. I think it's been a while since HBrutusH has been active in the forums, and I'm not even sure June has an account, but these 2 are TG players that stick out in my head as Irr material...committed to the TG way, honest, hard-working, and with decent skills (And I hope these 2, as well as others like Jitachi that I can remember, are checking up on the forums and reading this, and decide to apply to Irregs). Hopefully this is a way that you TG guys that are committed to TG can become tighter knit into the community.
