Irregs Wiki Banner Contest

Hear ye, Hear ye! The Irregs wiki be needin' a facelift!

While we're in the process of implementing the new platoon system, we want to give the members more opportunities to participate and contribute to the Irregulars. The Irregs Wiki Page has had some content changes, but it still looks very drab and could use some piratey love and care. So, I am asking you, the members of the Irregulars, to contribute possible banners for the Irregs Wiki page!

Here are the guidelines I want you guys to follow:

• The banner should be about 125(height)X850(width) pixels
• "The Irregulars" should be plainly visible, legible, and a dominant part of the image
• Keep the amount of other text to a minimum (One or two other lines)
• Banner content should be compliant with the TG code of conduct and forum rules
• If you use game images, keep in mind that the Irregs currently has platoons in 4 games/mods
• The banner should be representative of the Irregs as a whole

The guidelines are sparse so you guys can be creative. I want to stress again that the Irregs are more than the one game that you play. Try to avoid making the banner game specific.

Now, onto the administrative part:

• Submissions for the banner contest will be accepted until Friday, May 30.
• Please limit submissions to one per person. If you submit a banner and come up with a better one later, contact me to switch your submission.
• I reserve the right to disqualify/reject submissions if they do not conform to the guidelines laid out above or if I feel they are not appropriate representations of the Irregulars. I don't think it will happen, but I don't want anything really random finding their way into the contest.
• Please submit your banners to me either as attachments through PM or through a link to the full resolution image that you have hosted elsewhere.
• The banner that will be used will be selected through a popular vote. A thread with all the accepted submission will be posted on May 31. At that point, submissions are final. Voting will be conducted through an anonymous pole from May 31 to June 7 and will be open to all of TG. The banner with the most votes will be the banner used on the wiki.

So, start firing up your PhotoShop and scouring the web for pirate-phernalia. Show me your skillZ!

Nearly. The four games are PR, PoE2, CoD4, and BF2142.
