Need voice actors
I'm looking for some good voice actors for my next PR vid. If you're interested just post in this thread. Here are some lines that I'm looking for. Record whichever ones you want to do and add me on xfire: kevlarorc. Then you can send em to me and if I like the sound i will use them in the vid.
Also if you have suggestions for lines that are similar to these then go ahead and post them. These are all made off the top of my head so if it's miltarily incorrect then post a correct version. ![]() "Roger that, engaging at 500 meters" "We need support! Hostiles advancing on our position!" "Fireteam 1, advance from the north, we'll cover!" "Allaah Akar!!!" ok, just kidding "Broken Arrow!" I know what you're thinking. You want an icecream sandwhich righ now. As cliche as saying Broken Arrow in a movie is, I still may use it. "Callsign Casper, you're cleared hot!" "Roger, get small" "We got a VBIED moving north at (one-nine-five)" Gah, my mind went blank so go ahead and think of crazy stuff you might hear in an epic battle. If you speak persian then make some MEC sounds, by all means. ![]() I highly suggest you record with Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Hear is a quick lesson to get good quality voices. ![]() |

Re: Need voice actors
Ya'll can do em whenever you want, don't wait up for me. The more I get the more motivated i get to keep working on the movie. It's really hard to start on big projects like this just because I know it's gonna involve like a week of nonstop work of filming and editing and gathering sounds etc.
edit: i'll also take soundtrack suggestions. (i'm almost thinking "Atreyu" but seems a bit too screamo for PR) |

Re: Need voice actors
Im up for it thou im not sure how the US and brits call out targets but the degree wont work call targets like
Big tree left 3 fingers (strech out your arm and flip up your hand and the number of finger between the target and the objekt, no you dont hold your hand up in combat but you learn how to judge it quickly with traning) Otherwise call out like front left, left and so on compared to the sq's direction of movement. If anyone have been in the US/british army you might give him some pointers on how they do it.
