Re: my poster

assuming you are leaving lots of room for text.
1. loose the lens flare
2. less is more, collage posters can get really hard to see with too much going on especialy once you add text on top of it
3. more prominent TG logo

thats off the top of my head with no idea what you are going for or what its about

It looks good but it looks like you used more than one layer and set visability to less than 100%, that seems to make it look washed out or faded. I would shift the main parts of it to a different layer with only those elements on it and then make them opaque but crop the pics by deleting the areas around it then you can set the sky picture as the back ground for a less wispy picture with more detail.

1: I think I might agree, or maybe less pronounced?
2: the context is an airwar, so its sposed to be a bit chaotic in that aspect, agreed about the text, may box a portion out, definantly give the action more clarity.
3: Point me towards a higher res tg logo?

I think it is a combanation of things reaily the gun ship over the guys head as an example is very dark and not very defined, I think that it is on one of the back layers, the area at the top of the skydiver is intermixed with the sky makeing the top very undefined and the bottom a little faded but still fairly crisp.

What drawing program are you useing and are you useing layer fadeing or are you feathering one layer to another to get that effect or something else?

lot of feather, blur, smudge and different layer fills to intermix the 2.

this part isn't an excuse, but being color blind kinda throws off what i see in comparison, i think your right though about crisping the head of the sky diver better to match that corner maybe i'll rapid share the psd :P

Re: my poster

It looks a little dark for me. Which is fine if you want to put a lot of attention on the text (which should be white or a very light colour).

IMO it seems that there are 20 picutres in there. So that makes it feel very full and heavy. You could also say that there is a lot of action going on. Which would take attention away of the text and will make it hard to find space for text.

My advice would be:
Concentrate on 2-3 main pictures and make them strong and relevant for the event (or what ever this is about ) Make yourself room for text (some space with less action in the background) and keep what you allready really like!

Lose the Particle Shields on the EU Gunship. Everyone knows they don't really exist.
