Superbowl feb 6th

whos got it,

iu dont know who to put my money on, but i am hoping the packers at least make it to the finlas this year.

dont know if that will happen...

come on whos got it, whos gonna fall short.

the pats are always a good bet, judging by previous few years.

Re: Superbowl feb 6th

Ahem....

The Chargers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 24-17 in their regular-season finale at Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday.

Several reserves, including quarterbacks Doug Flutie and Philip Rivers, paved the way for the Bolts' 12th win of the season, tying the franchise record.

The last time the Chargers went to The Bowl, they got there when the Steelers didn't show up for the conference championship and the Niners spanked them appropriately...

BTW, here's the playoff schedule, for those that don't have it: http://www.superbowl.com/playoffs/schedule

Re: Superbowl feb 6th

yeah i know the odds are stacked against Greenbay but i have to say back the packers into a corner and farve generally throws them out of it.

i just dont want to go out in the wild card game like we did last year to the jets...

i dont know, greenbay and indianapolis certainly going to be a showdown and based on tonights performance if farve and green are clicking again who knows what... not to mention the marked increase in passing and the decrease in mistakes.

BUT WHOEVER DRAWS PITSBURGH IS IN TROUBLE MAN.

although there is soo much talent in the wildcards too, its going to be tough this year,

From this point forward, I submit that having a winning percentage over .500 should be a requirement to make the playoffs.

It doesnt matter who the Pats play in the superbowl, they're going to win anyway.

hmmm not sure about that,

my eyes are on pitsburgh right now, it seems even the strongest defensive lineup isnt stopping the offense with bettis this year.

i don t know what they are doing different but its working.

I agree about pittsburg....and i think the steelers have one of the strongest defensive lineup(for stopping the run). The change is that offence is having big Ben taking most of the snaps...like the first game of the season Maddox starts and the steelers lose then boom next game big ben starts and they win like there next 12 or 13 games in a row. The Steelers are getting the ring this year, wait and see.

yeah but i am thinking because they have played the running game largly this year that the coach may go and do something stupid like try and surprise the opposing team with a passing game.

you say it couldnt happen but then look at oaklands shot 2 years back, they were square for victory imo and then they shuffled the play book and gannon was playing like a fish out of water.

i dont know... i want a greenbay steelers final, if there is one man in the nfl that can take the steelers defensive line apart its bret farve... and when it comes to defense the packers have a strong line for the running game. may hold bettis off for a while and tire him out.

Re: Superbowl feb 6th

oooooooh what a game, the chargers go out, but what a damn game that was. it was almost as if that game was the superbowl its self.

i have to say i thought the score did not reflect that game though i thought the jets had the edge as soon as the half time break was up, but i comend the chargers defense becasue the new york offense was on fire.

well the chargers went into that game as quiet favorites but are out, is this the first of many upsets for the superbowl this year.

Indeed. That may have been the best game of the entire post season... We'll see...

Damn rookies...
