I don't even know where an arcade is in the D/FW area...

Last time I went to an arcade was when I was in Vegas, and there wasn't a game that cost less than a buck to play... :?

I've been to Speedworld and Gameworks in the D/FW area. And I don't even live there. :P

I also went to the goth club there... but that's probably a story for another thread.

I now stand corrected... my visit to Gameworks was on a trip to Tampa, not Dallas. But I'm still not wrong...

As for Speedworld, it's actually Speedzone (sorry), and you can read all about it here.

Now that you point it out, I've asked some of my co-workers about Speedzone before... They've got bungee jumping and stuff outside, right?

I'm gonna have to go check out the Grapevine Mills Mall as well...

Thanks!

But these still aren't the kind of arcade's I would consider an "arcade"... These are amusement parks. Although I'd be willing to pay for the really cool hydraulic games, mostly I just want to play a video games... I want to be able to play for hours on a $20, not mere minutes... In fact, if I was going to spend $20 on 2 minutes of entertainment, there are other places in Dallas that I'd go to spend my money...

Gameworks is arcade enough, I think.
And if you want to play for HOURS on $20, I doubt you'll find an arcade out there anymore where that little will go that far.

Actually you could try Dave and Buster's. I'm pretty sure they have one in the DFW area.
