What is that? The specs imply that it's a PC, but I've seen toy dogs that look bigger. I'm inclined to go against it on that standpoint alone.

I can't seem to find a listing of just the mainboard, which also bugs me some. Especially since it lists Fast Gigabit interface without mentioning 10/100 speeds. While it most likely does support those speeds, I'd definitely find out for sure unless you want to move your entire network to gigabit anyway.

Also, intent of this box? I note that under power it lists 220W. If you intend to play games with the finished product that could be a major issue with most video cards recomminding at least a 350W PS.

How much does this thing cost exactly? I'm seeing close to $300US for the AMD model, and that's a little high for a case, PS, and mobo unless you need something of those dimensions.

A lot of these micro PC's have been being aimed at LAN Party gamers for a while. Many of them are probably not all that bad. Shuttle has been around for a longtime. I used their boards in business systems including some of the all in one boards with little or no problems. most boards now days have about everything but video or audio built on now. As long as heat can be controlled it could be a good box. I wouldn't plan on any over clocking though. This is probably something I would buy for my kids to have their own system though

It's as simple as this...if it's got the intel 875P chipset then you're good to go. Because by running the Canterwood chipset and Hyperthreaded P4s you'll have a blazing fast system. As long as you put a good videocard in there (Raden 9800Pro) you'll love the shuttle.

P.S. - Don't skimp on the ram...512 minimum...1gig pref.
