Oh good its coming out on DVD instead of on N CDs.

I think it will soon be time to pop in another 512MB memory module.

Although I sympathize for those folks who are stuck on it, IMO the game will run a lot better when the servers is not getting bogged down with people with terrible bandwidth.

Re: System specs for BF2?

Just to note that at E3 the machines were AMD64 2700 with 1 GB RAM and nVidia 6800 GT (PCIe) and they were running the game smooth at full settings.

Re: System specs for BF2?

They suggest a machine that runs at 2 GHz, however an AMD that runs slightly less than that should be fine. I would bet at your settings Mateo you can run medium settings.

I run everything medium, so that won't be a switch. I'm not a graphics tweaker. If I can tell one polygon from another, it's all good.

You actually have the option, from what I can tell, of getting it on CD or DVD

Re: System specs for BF2?

Its gonna suck to have it on cds since it must be huge, besides CD are on the way out as it is anyway.

On the other hand not everyone can afford new stuff, I know i cant which is why i only upgrade once every 1,5-2 years.

And the 56Kers cant play this, which is sort of bad.
