personal demo mirror for all TG forum users

For my friends who can't manage a membership, I've mirrored the demo. This demo is also to be hosted in the members download area here. Please consider getting a Tactical Gamer supporting membership if you don't have one already. It's what makes all of this, which you enjoy, possible.

See text file contents for download URL and a request that you keep this in the TG forums.

Thank you.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.

Re: personal demo mirror for all TG forum users

I rent a personal server in the same datacenter used by TG. This file is being served from that location. No one will be able to download from their homes as fast as this host is able to serve files, and I don't anticipate enough people downloading from my mirror simultaneously to slow anything down.

You should enjoy satisfying download speeds.

Man, I need a dictionary for Ranger's posts. What's HH6? Is that similar to Rumpole's
SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed)?

I can't say what to do, by Wyz set that D/L up for members of the community that can't support for one reason or another. Do you really need it that badly, or can you wait for the member download?

Re: personal demo mirror for all TG forum users

If either my mirror or the TG download reaches bandwidth capacity, it'll be a first. Both pipes are HUGE.. far larger than anything any of us is running at home. Asking someone to avoid either download in the interests of others is like asking someone to wait until next week to hike the Grand Canyon so that the rest of TG can do it this week: there's more capacity on both sites than will ever be used by either target market.
