Wow.....

I.... LOVE THIS FRIGGIN GAME! I am also now an awesome commander. We were losing a ton before I took the chair, and then... we won about... 6-7 STRAIGHT rounds in a row. I call dibbs on commander :P

I am SOOOO getting this game! Who else has played it?

I'm running this game on all high settings, and I get no lag at all... I'm amazed with this game a TON. GJ to the makers!

What do you guys think?

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.

Re: Wow.....

Way Cool I was shocked how well it runs...XP2200(1.8) and an FX5200(128MB) which isn't even listed as supported

Re: Wow.....

Its nice and all, but it feels like I'm playing this game on a computer. The controls are unresponsive, non intuitive. Its the difference between feeling and moving as if you are wearing light airy clothes, and as if you were wearing firemen gear. It just feels... heavy. In a bad way.

Re: Wow.....

The iron sights, sprinting, etc reminds me of AA:O but I haven't played AA:O at all recently so I'm commenting on the earlier design.

In the little time I played the infantry felt more like the backbone then vehicles were in previous games. The vehicles felt more like they were being deployed with a strategy as opposed to being omnipresent. Map design was nice and playing infantry meant I could flank and dig into some areas instead of using the same paths as the tanks.

I had a good time mowing down infantry from a static MG which isn't an entirely suicidal thing to try. I also seem to have blown up a stop sign and we can only imagine the anarchy that caused the enemy who no longer knew they should stop, wait, and look for the train before crossing. So far it's been fun but I'm still putting my controls into something I'm comfortable with. With the default controls infantry was sprinting circles around my tank and the turret couldn't keep up with them.

I have to read the BF:2 site so I know what all that junk by the classes means now.

Re: Wow.....

45 minutes to download from TG on my 2mb line. Now I just have to wait for my windoze box to finish defragging, so I guess that'll be sometime around the BF3 launch

Re: Wow.....

I played the game for only 20 minutes or so and running on low video and audio settings the game was still awesome. I can only imagine what the high end looks like.

Re: Wow.....

Rooty boy(?), you need at least 15% of your HD clear to defragment properly.

Re: Wow.....

I just hope we get a solid TG crowd for this game. I can't stand playing this game without teamwork also I am very disappointed with the game. I lost all hope for the game when I noticed that my 70 ton M1A2 was taking damage from driving around.
