chopper piloting
I've been spending some time learning how these things work that I'd like to share a few things.
I noticed the chopper will actually hover on it's own without pressing accelerate or decelerate. You can then stear it rudder left or right as long as you keep the nose level it won't move. If you roll it will move though. You can jump out of the chopper as a passenger from about 10 feet up without injuring yourself. So choppers don't need to land for people to get out or IN. I configured my gamepad to use choppers and it works considerably better. Though it was a pain programming the controls, I had to reset defaults in order to reprogram some analog controls. |

Re: chopper piloting
I use a Rumble Force Saitek Joystick, and all i do to land is pull back on the throttel, and bam, instant hover.
But barrol rolls/backflips are pure skill... And yes, i can do them in battle, good for avoiding incoming stingers.

Re: chopper piloting
Well you learned on a Keyboard/Mouse, i learned on my Joystick, just remember, this is the first time i really got to fly anything, i picked out on it real quick. And if i can learn to fly in just the matter of a few hours, aiming/defending will come to me soon.
