Very tight server, good job

Howdy all. Last night I joined your BF2 Demo server at random because it had a good amount of players and a low ping. All I have to say is that you guys have the absolute best server out there that I've played on so far. Amazing teamwork. I broke my teeth on the squad leader postion last night here, and it was simply amazing how well things flowed.

Asch referred me to the website, and I have to admit that I felt bad when he asked if I was a TG player and I didn't even know what he was talking about (joined the server at random and promptly forgot the name). I also called him Glasch for about 30min until I learned to read.

Anyway, great server, I'll be bringing along some buddies with me to see if they like it.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.

And Asch has been raving about you ever since. Welcome!

Awesome! Glad to see you made it over SmokingTarpan. I've been relaying that whole experience to the rest of the community here. The way you led that squad I could have sworn you were an old TG player with a name I just didn't recognize.

I think you'll find that once everyone has had time to learn the demo, that every game on our server will be as exciting. Of course I'm boasting a little now. But check out our site, the different games we play and read through the forums.

We're a mature group of gamers who like to play objective team-based games.

Re: Very tight server, good job

Just wanted to give more props to SmokingTarpan. I'd guess you've had military training from the way you handled our squad. Great communication and awareness of the situation and his team. Now if we could just figure out how to promote Squad Leaders.

I've been AFK from TG for a while. Last night reminded me of why I joined in the first place.

I'm one of SmokingTarpan's friends. I just wanted to introduce myself. And prove that Tarpan has friends.

I really enjoyed playing last night. It definitely improved when I found the squad with the mics, though. Hastapee and I were flying around in the Blackhawk capping flags and repairing artillery for a long time. It definitely felt like I was part of a team.

I too spent some time on this server last night and was amazed. I had been playing the demo since it was released and there have not been many opporunities to be involved in squad based action. These types of games just get old with the run 'n gun mass-hysteria approach. I look forward to some good tactical gaming with you folks, it makes a huge difference.

Welcome Helter!

I think you'll find that TG is the place for team-based play. It's a bit hectic with the newness of the demo and the server being open to the public. Eventually it will calm down and every squad will be run masterfully (unless Wyz is SL of course) and everyone will quit their day job just to play BF2 @ TG.
