Supporting Member Reserved Slots?

Apop, will we see these anytime soon? I know its not just as easy as throwing a switch...just been trying to get on our server for the past couple of nights with no luck.

That solution is still a few weeks away. This is still a demo, and when the final comes out, then the developers will be working on that solution.

Reserved slots are such a typical feature of servers these days, it amazes me that a brand new game like BF2 doesn't have the tools built in necessary to manage reserve slots.

BF1942 did. There's no reason to believe that the full release of BF2 won't.

Cool cool...just curious. Was able to hop in tonight, do some gunning for Zephyr, run with Wyz's squad a bit, and teamed with Pliskin (not sure if he has made his rounds to the TG forums yet, but good leader.)

We're not sure what BF2 has in it yet.. We've only got the demo and have yet to see the full fledged server.

BF1942 did? I thought it was an admin tool for BF1942 that had this feature.

Reserved slots were integrated into the BF1942 and BFV engines. The admin tools just made them easier to set up and more apparent to server operators.
