Re: Need Help!!!

Give us a complete list of your computer's specs. Motherboard, RAM, CPU, Videocard, etc.

Chances are your videocard is not up to par.

Re: Need Help!!!

They don't make P4 540MHz, Sniper.

If you have hyperthreading, you may want to try turning it off.

Re: Need Help!!!

Also be sure to download the newest drivers and BIOS for your motherboard, drivers for your video card and sound card.

Make sure everything is up to date.

Close.
540 is the chipset. SiS 540 chipset supports socket 7.

540 is the model number of the Pentium 4 540. Intel has made a move to model numbers... seems they have finally realized that MHz don’t really define the performance of a processor.

nothing
your computer meets the hardware requirements for BF2... most likely you have a problem with your configuration. Try disabling hyperthreading, try different drivers for the video... not sure what else to tell you. I do know that you are not the only one with your problem... a google search may find a solution.

Re: Need Help!!!

i have the exact same issue right now, the thing is, the actual game has been working and running perfectly ever since it came out and i got it... could it be the upgrade patch for the game pushed it too far for my computer???

comp stats:
-pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.53GHz
-2.52GHz
-768MB of RAM
-NVidia GeForce FX 5200 (i know it sucks horribly, but it still runs smoothly on low graphics)
