Cd Key Problems

ok i bought BF 2 i played online for a day then the next day it says the cd key is already in use so i figure its pireting so i called EA they gave me a new CD CODE and i was going to uninstall and reinstall but i have been reading alot of problems with uninstalling and reinstalling so im not suure i want to do that. is tehre anyway of changing the CD Code with out uninstalling like editing the .DLL's or the configs ive opened a few DLL's and looked through but they are big in Notepad and it is kind of hard dose anyone know what to do because single player works fine so thats ok for now but its getting a little boring

Just reinstall the game. I dont think they're is anything else you can do.
