GameDrive & BF2
Anyone else use GameDrive? I have the DVD version of BF2 and as of yet GameDrive does not appear to support it. I'd love to be able to image the DVD and put it away for safe keeping. We have a 3 year old wandering the house so nothing is safe!

Re: GameDrive & BF2
Does it rip the image as well as mount it? GameDrive happens to both in the same program which is why I'm currently using it. I know Daemon Tools is free but it still requires the image to be ripped separately doesn't it?
Does Daemon Tools definitely work for the BF2 DVD edition?

Re: GameDrive & BF2
I've never heard of gamedrive... I've used alcohol 120% to rip through most copy protection types to make dupes of cds/dvds tho so if you can get your hands on a copy of that it might be useful
I use Daemon tools but I thought it only was used for mounting images, not ripping them |

Re: GameDrive & BF2
I don't think GameDrive is huge but I saw it a year or so ago at Best Buy for $19.99 so I thought I would try it. Works decently so far, just can't get it to create the image for BF2 yet.
I've heard Alcohol 120% is the best but I think even a home user copy is a bit pricey.

Re: GameDrive & BF2
I use Daemon tools, but I don't think it rips. It does however emulate (or remove?) protection, so you don't have to remove that from the image. They were sold out of BF2 DVD version when I bought it (got CD instead) so I can't verify if it works for that or not.
