Exclamation changing keys

i wanted to know if any one is having problems binding movement keys to the num pad in BF2 even if i clear every single key air, sea, infantry ect i still can not set num 8 which is up as the move forward key. other problem keys include num 4,5,2 can any help

oh how do i tell ea of this problem

Not all of the 'bound' keys appear in the ontrols section in game.

Go to

My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles, and in your saved profile (prob 0001) you will find a file called controls.con

MAKE A COPY FOR BACKUP!

all the keybindings are in here. Numpads are called " Numpadx " where x is the number. eg " Numpad8 " (no " or spaces).

Do a search and you should find them. Replace with a key you don't use, and that should free it up.


don't alter any file in the install directory.
