There were some very good games going on! Tarpan was doing a great job as CO facing me. And B was his usual excellent self as SL.

The quality of gameplay for an afternoon was quite high!

Yes, some very good games this afternoon. Thanks to all the squads that worked with me, especially to squad 1 on the powerplant. Poor guys, everywhere they went they got slaughtered, but they did a great job nontheless. And when I saw Tempus was the CO, I almost cried.

The afternoon was only ruined by coming back to CO at night, and having 2 squads doing anything but following my orders. We went from being 30 points up with the enemy ticking down on Zatar, to losing by almost 200 thanks to that. I spent almost more time fighting in the main base than I did commanding.

By the way, just a note: admin messages don't show up for the CO when he's in the squad screen. When I needed a guy kicked for being stupid, I only knew the admin was trying to talk to me because a squad asked if I was seeing the message.

Re: Great rounds this sunday afternoon

i was second squad leader on zatar.

man we were bored. my greatest satisfaction on that map came when i actually managed to down an attack chopper with an AT missile.

and if it wasn't air support harassing us, it was artillery, which, i, officially, am a magnet for. i would say at least ten to twenty times, i was just standing there, and the very first arty round would come down right in my lap. no warning at all.

thanks to my squad, though. good job on oman, especially.

I thought that was strange. I asked Turbosol on TS to ask you what problems you were having, but took a while for a response. I kicked him in the end, so all is good. I will keep in mind that CO doesn't see admin messages in future.

Re: Great rounds this sunday afternoon

If you're going to CO regularly, you should get on TS yourself. Then just report problem players/squads to the admins online.

Re: Great rounds this sunday afternoon

Many times an admin might be a squad leader. When I'm SL, I'll let my CO know that he can report any problems to me.

Re: Great rounds this sunday afternoon

I was typing to Tarpan asking him what the problem was but I guess he couldn't see what I was writing because he was in the command screen. I was on the MEC side so I couldn't talk to him.

I saw what you were typing, but miraculously, the squad I was having problems with fell into line. Unfortunately, about 5min after that, a different squad started being dumb.
