Your Best Knife Kill?

OK OK, I know this thread is a bit non-TG in spirit, but I'm bored at work... Lets have your best Knife kill stories!

Mine? You had to know I was going to brag a wee bit:

I'm hugging the fence line into the City on Oman, laying people out with my M16 on burst when I see an enemy medic turn a corner to charge-revive my last victim. Seeing as how Im in charge-distance myself, I switch to knife and dash towards the medic--getting in knife range just as he shocks his squadmate back to life. -SWISH- I knife the medic; drop prone and -SWISH, SWISH- knife his patient! I run back to my spot covering the fence line.

Jumping right into the face of a guy from above surprising him and knifing him. Also probably giving the guy a heart attack

in karkand a vodnik had rolled up with a gunner mowing everyone down. I proceeded to jump on the top of the vodnik (im not sure how i actually got up there, but i did) and i knifed the gunner. This was in a ranked server and the guy called a kickvote against me.

One day, about a week ago, was on Oilfield, and one of the reg's and I got into a sniper war where he would get up on top of the big oil tank, and I would proceed to gun him down, or vice versa. Next I'd kill him going up the ladder, next time, a claymore at the bottom of the ladder, he'd run me over in a buggie, I'd claymore him at the top, gun him at the top, etc. He kept going up there so I kept killing him. Well, I knew when he'd go up there he'd claymore the top, and I finally saw another teammate going up the ladder, so I jumped on right behind him. The guy in front of me got claymored of course, so I waited a sec, finished my climb, and caught him crawling up to place another claymore and I knifed him
I'd say I had him by a good 3:1 ratio, and one point he even typed in all caps "STOP IT OK!"

Coincidentally, I have only made 2 knife kills, and both were on Dalian plant last night.

Was over in the construction site, and saw an enemy facing away from me giving covering fire. Knelt down, one stab and he was dead. His mate then came around the corner, saw me and jumped to the ground to fire. I also jumped to the ground and gave him a knife to the face.

Then their mate shot me in the back.

i was going after a sniper on top of a ridgeline. as i was approaching from behind, he got up and started to move, sprinting at times. i must've followed him for about 100 yards on the top of the ridge, in plain view. kept the knife out. finally, he stopped, turned around, and i stabbed him.

I actually don't have a single knife kill. I don't have it bound to a hotkey and never think to use anyway. I'm sure I'll learn to appreciate it in time.

Burble brought up a good point without meaning to I think about chasing that sniper down. Don't shoot at someone the instant you see them unless they see you too. People rarely look behind them unless they're going in to cap a flag solo and paranoid. Snipers and ATs seem the worst as they are so focused on their target they lose track of their surroundings.

whats better than a knife kill is killing someone with a defibulator I forgot who it was, but I was shooting at someone he/she was shooting at me. We both ran out of ammo, switched to pistols still could not kill (health packs all over the ground). Finally he/she charged at me with the knife...i whipped out the defibs and charged at the right time to get the kill. good times

Mine was on the Gulf of Oman map. I'm playing sniper on top of the hotel. I was getting a bit bored so I took out my knife and stood there for a bit, then the view showed me flipping the knife up in the air and catching it by the tip on my finger. It pricked me and I died! :-)

A couple weeks ago, my squad was defending the middle point on the Wetlands map. I was spotting north, and saw a squad get off a boat and make their approach. I told my squaddies and told them to let them approach. They got up close, hugging the hill, attempting to loop around the east and take us from the south. I slipped down the face, and gutted the prone SL with the knife from behind. They started charging, and I stuck the other 3 guys in quick succession, none of whom saw me until they were on the ground, dead. Then I bathed in their blood and ate their still-beating hearts. OK maybe not so much that last part...

I almost want to change my name to Bob the Butcher after that one. I love this game.

In reality all weapons in BF2 are fake. You simply incapacitate them by giving them a heart attack with your big scary weapons and LOUD NOISES.

Thats why the medics do so well with just shock paddles and comfort pillows.

i once surprised 3 guys too-

knifed the lot of them and walked away smiling

also today i knifed a spec ops with his powerful gun when he was coming straight at me through a doorway- sure enough the guy in the enemy apc trying to cap the nearby flag pulls up, gets out and crouches at the body on the other side of the doorway - he didnt get the chance to scream.

One more- guy is prone , shooting at me, i jump over his line of fire, land prone on top of him - 2 stabs and nothing but silence.

i love melee kills in fps

It's all in a VR world...the men just believe they are being mortally shot and killed. The medic is just a program to tell their brain they're 'really not dead'.

today i got some good knife kills, i get these quite often, snipers are the easiest target.

i was spec ops, and was the only saving grace of my team. i was in a squad by myself that no one was joining so i was just supporting squads. id ride in an APC about 10 meters from the base id get out, and clear hte pereimiter. i snuck up behind 4 guys in a squad, tossed a nade, their medic revived them, they were so close i just had ot chance it, i rushed in, knifed their medic, their SL, then their AT guy turned around a litttle too late and i knifed him. it was great =)
