Help me find a gaming mouse please!
Hi everyone here - I was wondering if you could recommend a good mouse to use in game?
It is specifically for BF2, as I am playing that most of all recently. I currently use a logitech cordless optical mouse. It's a decent mouse for gaming and desktop work, but like a lot of opticals lacks the fine control. That is small slow movements (fine tuning the aim) of the mouse often don't show up on screen. I'd prefer cordless and optical again, but really i need something that has good fine movement sensing. I'd prefer not to have to go above £30 / $50. Thanks in advance.

It might be a little over budget but its well worth it! It's the Logitech MX1000 Lazer mouse. It comes with software that allows u to program all 8 buttons, it charges fast, and is very accurate.

You're all insane.
There's only one mouse. And it's not that expensive. Find it here: http://www.razerzone.com/products/pr...iamondback.php

Re: Help me find a gaming mouse please!
I would give a strong vote for the MX-1000 as well.
It's a laser mouse (rather than LED powered optical) that provides an ENORMOUS jump in resolution compared to optical mice. It's rechargeable and the wireless functionality is on par with a wired mouse.

Re: Help me find a gaming mouse please!
I have to agree with StrikeFear. I've had excellent performance from my Razer Diamondback.
Having said that, I've heard good things about the MX-518. I think from a sheer performance perspective it and the Diamondback are pretty much even. At that point it really comes down to personal preference as far as shape and I just like the shape of the Diamondback better.

Re: Help me find a gaming mouse please!
I have to agree with the mx1000. I've had mine about a month and it's made a huge difference in games that need that kind of detail. However, the MX1000 has 800 dpi and the Razor is twice that. I haven't used one, so I don't anything else about it.

Re: Help me find a gaming mouse please!
Probably both mice offer excellent precision. One of the most important features to me, believe it or not, is the "On-the-fly sensitivity" adjustment of the Razer mice.
Hold a mouse-button in, and roll the mouse wheel to adjust sensitivity from 1-10 in .5 increments. This is fantastic for me when I 1. switch to sniper kit (and want less sensitivity - pixel-by-pixel movement for headshots) 2. switch to helo pilot (and want more - less hand-motion, more response from helo) 3. want slightly finer control to work the map as commander etc... very nice to be able to do that quickly.
