Training Session Tonight

FYI-I'm going into Server 2 tonight to show Sabre Six the PCS ropes.

If you are interested in joining to learn more Server 2 play, you are welcome, with the following provisos:

You must be on Teamspeak: HL 2 channel.

You must already have access to the password.

You must be willing to learn PCS

I will assume that anyone on server 2 after 9:30 PM EDT has read the above, and will adhere to it.

Any violation of those terms will be dealt with swiftly.

The training session will last about 1hour.

Re: Training Session Tonight

It says I don't have the priveledges or something. Is that a members only feature maybe? I'll find teamspeak on download.com or something similar though. I'm going to do my best to attend the training.

edit: Thanks so much kentuckyLiger, I appreciate it.

Thumbs up Re: Training Session Tonight

Just got out of the training and must say that the two admins (Mateo and 9v) did an excellent job at handling the situation. I learned a few things, just wanted to say that everything went exactly as I expected, nothing more that I could have asked for. Thanks for putting together this training session, and hopefuly we can do it again in the near distant future.

Re: Training Session Tonight

I think it went well.

You guys all need to adjust to the server 2 game (not so much rush is there?). 9v was playing textbook. Great to see.

A few pointers:

1. Slow Down.
2. Keep it down. Making noise, knifing and shooting things....well, that takes your attention away from your area of coverage, and gives away your position. Don't do it.
3. CT's blew by the hostages on more than one occassion going for a kill. Don't do that. Fireteam 1 can escort the hostages out, while one CT covers their retreat.

I have no problem walking through another map, another time.

Re: Training Session Tonight

Thanks to all involved, especially 9v and Mateo, for having the patience to put up with my newbness.

I've got to go right a letter to a hostages family. Oops, just doesn't seem to be the right words.

Goodnight

Re: Training Session Tonight

Yes, the training did seem to go very well. I didn't particularly learn anything new, but I did refresh my memory, and there is nothing wrong with going back and learning things again. Mateo and 9v, excellent jobs tonight, great work. Good games to all, and I hope to see you on the servers often sabre six .

Re: Training Session Tonight

Yeah, I think I walked in on the end of it (during cs_office), but hell it was still a lot of fun. Wish we could get more people on server 2 more often.
