A couple of weeks ago I was playing as Chinese in Dragon Valley, when my squad was ordered to the north bank of the map (not the UCB). As we buggied our way in I commented to my squad mates that I had never been here before.

Two other places that immediately spring to mind is the aircraft carrier of the USMC on Zatar and Dragon Valley - although I've played those maps tons of times. Similarly on Sharqi Peninsula I have only ever as MEC spawned in the middle UCB.

So what common areas of maps have you guys yet to explore?

Sheesh. I've never been on foot just about ANYWHERE on:
Kubra
Clean Sweep
Daquing Oilfields
Zatar Wetlands
FushePass

Those are big "Jet" maps. I only know that terrain from about 1,000 feet and up. Never seen it at ground level.

Im a ground fighter through and through, i hate it up in the air, Ive explored pretty much most of the maps though i still get a new feeling when exploring alot of the heavily wooded areas on some of the chinese maps, you dont notice the attension to detail untill you take a close look at some of the environments

You need to ground pound a time or two so you can learn where all the SAM emplacements are

FuShe is fun to run around on just to enjoy the scenery.. The pretty waterfall and mountains and all that.

The roads around the edges of the map on Mashtuur City are pretty neat, though I haven't explored them much. Haven't wandered around the area between the UCB's on Sharqi that much. The northwest area looks like a golf course http://www.totalbf2.com/images.php?i...s/sharqi64.jpg

I like flying through the canyons in the out of bounds area near the Essex on Zatar Wetlands. I've crashed many a time trying to lose a fighter on my tail

Since I am usually a CO, I rarely see many parts of the maps.

In fact, I have never even been out of the UCB on Fu She Pass.

until last night, i had never even played as the chinese on Sharqui..! and i never spawned anywhere but one of the original american flags...so i haven't been anywhere but the "city" on that map at all...!! hahahaah it was a helluva game last nite..i think we lost 4-0 at the last second of something

Funny stuff cause I've never been in the airfields of most of the maps. Ground-pounders for life!
