Volume issues with Logitech Headset

Ok, I use http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...CONTENTID=9523

My squadmates have trouble hearing me talk and I have to half yell so they can hear me...the thing is, using this when using Ventrilo I'm loud and clear, sometimes too loud, is there any kind of setting I need to mess with to turn up in BF2? My Mic boost gain and transmit volume are maxed.

Re: Volume issues with Logitech Headset

Do you have a webcam or any other peripheral that may have a built in mic? If so, disable it. I have a Logitech webcam and a Logitech headset, and had a problem with coming in faint with echo. I did an experiment in the BF2 audio set-up; I unplugged the headset and noticed that BF2 was still picking up transmissions. Even with my webcam turned off, with the transmit volume to 0 it was still transmitting. So I unplugged the webcam, plugged in the headset and everything was 5 x 5.

Re: Volume issues with Logitech Headset

I use the Logitech PlayStation2 headset, and I have had problems with volume, but you need to go into sound and multimedia, then go to audio, then click the volume under the sound recording heading. Max it out. That works.
