Server resets and the map rotation...

I've noticed the server resets a lot, either "by itself" or at the end of a round with a message spammed by an admin. The resets themselves don't bother me, however the fact it seems to always reset when we get to about half of the map rotation does. I play on BF2 #1 a lot and I don't think I've played the 2nd half of the rotation for 2+ months now.

It usually goes Mashtuur->karkland->dalian plant->oman->oilfields then it either resets at that point or we get to play dragon valley sometimes. Any plans to change the rotation once in a while? I'd love to play Clean Sweep, Kubra Dam and such but it never happens

. Or at least change the map back to what it was when the server resets?

i hate kubra, but i like all the others.

i also end up playing mashtuur, karkand, daqing, and dalian 95% of the time.

i think the main problem is that most people here tend to like only infantry based maps, and shy away from the "you NEED a vehical to function" maps

i know what yoru saying though, other than stalemate which i can stand, i love all the other maps, and miss playing them as well

I think we need to change the map rotation because you are right every night we seem to end up with the same maps between 8pm-1am. I don't think I have seen Operation Clean Sweep for over a month now. Maybe we should do a map vote and make the most popular earlier in the rotation.

Or maybe write a script that will randomly set up the map rotation every day or week. It's nice to mix things up once in a while.

Yeah even if the urban based maps are the best, id still like to see the bigger maps as well.

Had one yesterday, first time in a while though, 9 out of 10 it will crash at or after Dalian and start over at Mashtuur

I jumped on the server last night and Operation Clean Sweep was on. I kind of like that map because you can approach a flag from so many different angles.
