My amazing and quizzicle microphone headset combo (a one-two punch! :o )met its tragic demise earlier today. For those of you who know me, and the evil things I have done using that particular piece of auditory technology, I made a digital piece for a fictional play which would showcase the gaping wound in my manbreast disguised as an entry into no more room in hell mod's poster contest. Made so that I never forget the short time I've shared with it's fluffy ear cups and slender microphone.

My sympathy is with you pelvis, I don't see my headset having a very long life. When it breaks, I'll probably go buy the same one from WalMart though.

Yeah I'll buy a new one soon. I don't know how much cs I'll be playing until then though >.<

heh, i've broken and returned 5 of them...

so i just bought a stationary microphone instead of the headset

Yeah, I might just get a stationary mic, then again not having surround sound might prove a deadly curse when it comes to those "last man standing" rounds that are played almost exclusively with sound and careful directional listening. Unless I'm on office, I don't care who hears me, or my tmp. Mmmmm...office...

well know what you need to do? stop getting cheap crap from wholesalers and pay an extra 15$ for a quality set that will last over a year. I'm pretty sure i gave you a stationary mic though didnt i?
