Worth the buy?
I have heard many people say that Battlefield 2 is the greatest combat sim that they have ever played. Yet, I still hear that there is always lag and that the game hast too many bugs to worth tha buy. Im thinking about buying the game but i dont know if it is worth the 50 dollar price tag. Any help you can give me about making my decision would be greatly appreciated.
thanks, catcherguy |

Re: Worth the buy?
It is fun! I wouldn't exactly call it a simulator in the sense that America's Army is, but it's a great game. Sure, there are really annoying bugs but I overlook them because I'm having so much fun -- and that's what it's about, right? The style of play here at TG just adds to the fun.
I'd say to give the demo a shot if you're up in the air, or just to make sure it plays good on your system. The demo map, Gulf of Oman, gives you a good taste of the planes, helicopters, tanks, buggies, and infantry fighting. |

Re: Worth the buy?
As perry said, check out the demo to see how the game performs on your machine. Now when you get on public servers, don't get frustrated by the experience of pubby play. Many here have said that without TG servers, they wouldn't play the game. If the demo performs on your machine, then get the retail and hop on over to the TG servers.
