[MYGOT] Tags

We had one of these guys show up last night. If you do a search you will find that the tag is used by players who like to hack or disrupt servers for the sole purpose of getting people so angry that the stop playing and start insulting. They then take SS of the insults and post them on thier site.

yeah,,, a guy named vodka with the tag of mygot showed up last night... I thought the policy was to ban them on sight. I know there was an admin. But all he did was give a warning.

Can't Poker make a script to permanently auto-ban anyone with a tag like that?

Yeah, the forums look like they're locked down pretty tight. Try the home page: www.myg0t.com. It includes a handy how-to sheet for "raging" other players in BF2.

I tend to think that an auto-ban policy on these guys would be advisable. I know I don't want any of them in my game, or worse, on my team or squad.

Wye notified me last night that vodka was on the server. He was immediately banned remotely. Such bans will be automated at some point in the future.

They were automated, but I've not yet ported that script over to ModManager. That comes next, apparently.

. i heard bommando was kicking people while he was flying a jet mission while i was on a few days ago.

Hehe, I always wonder how Bommando can fight, be the great SL he is and perform admin duties at the same time. I'm betting on some kind of robotic arms, or maybe some kind of surgery..

Heh heh, I've wondered that myself. A week ago or so, I was commanding on Dalian Plant, and was having issues with one squad in particular. After I chastized the squad for not following orders, Bommando comes on the horn offering his admin services if they were needed. He did this while zipping around in a jet with his warning klaxons sounding non-stop for minutes on end. Maybe Bommando is actually like the Twins from the Matrix, and he becomes a ghostly apparition which defies the laws of reality as we know them.

Wait, maybe Bommando IS the Matrix!

Does anyone have a red pill?

ill take the blue. i always wondered what had happened if he took the blue pill. and why red and blue, why not purple and orange. i bet he has 2 mice and his dog flys the plane while he does the admin duties.
