Possible dumb question on log in on BF2..
Could not find a topic on this problem.
Problem is that I have forgotten my password. I am still able to log in on BF 2 as my PC remembers for me..:-)). But what to do if the PC crashes or I buy a new rig and reinstall? If I forget the log in on a forum I can request this information via e-mail. Thanks for any reply. BTW, if a friend of mine wants to test TG servers, does he have to register in the forums ? (He is very reluctent to register in any forum). I think not, but it doesn't hurt to ask. As his english is a little on the weaker side he is also a little shy to peruse the rules but I think he will fit in even if he does not completly understand all that stuff on the first try as most of it is clearly self evident and in general he is a cooperative player. |

You should be able to get an account back with the email. Maybe if you email EA about it you can the password.
The password is the password of your email. |

Re: Possible dumb question on log in on BF2..
If you go to www.gamespyid.com there is a link there to retrieve a forgotten password. BF2 uses the GameSpy ID as its login system.
As far as your friend, tell him to jump in just like you did! No need to register on the forums - I started playing here before I had registered. If he doesn't understand the rules, maybe you can translate stuff for him? http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlefield-2-server-rules/57177-rules-battlefield-2-rules-guidelines.html - those are probably the most important rules for someone new to TG to understand. As long as he sticks with his squad and doesn't hop around like a bunny he should be alright. The rest will come in time ![]() |

On the login screen, you go to Manage Accounts and then Retrieve Account. It is very simple after a new install.
