Filling server 2

I haven't played much recently, and I am a SM member so I can get a spot when I'd like, but I feel that as TG'ers we should make an effort to begin filling out the 2nd server to fill the community even more. How about if the server is full, we try and get in the 2nd one and attract more people. I am willing to idle around for a while if a few others will join in with me.

I hopped on there a couple times this past weekend to fly around.. I saw a grand total of 1 other person on there during my time. One time I joined and it was on Songhua... not much flying to do there, and it wouldn't let me do a map vote by myself so I didn't stick around too long.

I agree with the thought, but I have a hard time justifying sitting idle on server 2 when I could be playing. I think it would be good for the community, and I think we could fill a 2nd server full-time, but we might need to create an incentive for the regular crowd to be there.

Maybe it's just me but even the past couple nights I've played (Sunday, Thursday, Wed) seems like server 1 never filled out. It just kinda hovered between 40-50 people. Although late last night it was full.

What about changing the map rotation on server 2 and getting rid of some of the maps that aren't as popular? Personally I don't care but I know Kubra and Stalemate aren't that high on people's lists generally.

i started a game up with a guy called Timmer in my squad and we left from server one the night of the SG scrimmage that got cancled

. we had a fun game and 2 other people eventually joined and we had a good time. i had to go after 30 minutes because i was tired from playing bf2 for 6 hours that day

Perhaps the 'autokick' script could dump the person off server1 and onto server2. That would feed people to the server when the SM's are showing up.

Perhaps if you then put a script on server 2 that would allow any member of TG a slot over a random public member (no TG login).

but server 2 is passworded so it would kick from unpass to pass and that wouldnt work cause pubies would get into the passworded server and then we would all die from unPCSness

I've not yet found a way to execute client commands like "connect". I've had this same thought, though.

If anyone with more time or knowledge has a clue, feel free to pipe up.
