Yeah it's good to see self-policing in the rare absence of an admin.

If it is turned off your slot does not count against the vote. I believe.

The only reason I voted yes was becuase it was a TG server and because I saw who inititated the vote.

I think the game only counts positive votes. A null-vote and a negative vote mean the same thing. I think.

Yeah, as SL, I will usually try to advise my squaddies how I think they should vote in those things. I try to vote appropriately, according to what I know of the initiator and the candidate, plus what I have seen in game, both via the actions of both people and any text chats that I've noticed scrolling past.

Of course, a squaddie is always free to ignore me.

Principles of good Sandbox Etiquette:
Assume good faith - Be polite, please! - Work toward agreement. - Argue facts, not personalities. - Concede a point when you have no response to it, or admit when you disagree based on intuition or taste. - Be civil. - Be prepared to apologize. In animated discussions, we often say things we later wish we hadn't. Say so. - Forgive and forget. - Recognize your own biases and keep them in check. - Give praise when due.

Treat others as you would have them treat you
