New bugs on commander screen with 1.03
Tonight I was SL and Santa was CO. I heard him mention something about UAVs being placed well south of where he clicked. Later he left and I took over as CO for the last minute or two of the round. I noticed the same problem. When I clicked the UAV button and then tried to place it on the map it would show up a good 50 or more meters south of where I clicked. I noticed a similar problem when I would click on the map so that I could zoom all the way in to that location. When I zoomed in my view was about 50 or more meters south of where I clicked.
Has anyone else seen these problems? Is this also a problem when placing artillery and supply drops? I really hope Santa and I were just imagining things. It's one thing that they didn't fix several major bugs, but to actually break things that worked fine before and will cause frustration for commanders? Ugh. |

Is this anything like the artillery bug where you drop artillery near the edge of the map and the shells overshoot your target (judging from the center of the map)? I remember seeing that on Zatar and Oman.

I've requested supplies in a certain spot only to see the icon be put halfway across the map no matter how many times I try it. This was before the patch, I didn't play last night but my guess is that this one is probably still present.

I have always had that UAV problem on Wetlands when trying to use the UAV on the West side of the map by the airfield when I'm not 100% zoomed out. It ends up putting the UAV on the extreme edge of the map where it is useless to anyone.

Ive always noticed that towards the edges of the map the Arty and Radar will screw up ...sometimes showing up off into the red-lined "off limits" part of the map...which is very annoying...I think it has something to do with which zoom you are using at the time you call in whichever

Did you try recalibrating your view? I think they didn't actually fix the chopper/bomber calibration bug - they just moved it to the CO screen.
