Revived as different class?

Twice today on a different server I was MEC Assault (Sharqi), died, and was revived only to see myself as a medic! When I died again, I respawned assault the normal way.

Anyone else see this with the new patch?

It doesn't have anything to do with the patch. Your guy grabs any kit that's handy when revived, including the enemies kits, teammates. You need to find your original kit and swap back. They do disappear pretty quickly.

Someone other than the medic proberly stole your kit before you were revived

Yeh its normally because someone switched with your kit while you were down. Its always disoreinting for me when it happens, and usually the gun is empty which often gets me killed before I can swap again.

Lucky Shot is right, it is whatever kit is closest to you when you get revived. I was once revived amongst a pile of bodies and I recovered as a MEC medic even though I was originally a USMC support. I paused for a second and looked around and found my old kit again.

Ha, yes! Last week I was playing as a USMC Medic, got kilt, got revived, and suddenly I was a MEC Support! It definitely threw me for a loop.

just becuase something suprises you for the first time dont imediatly think its some bug witht eh patch

I never noticed until last night either. I think its due to the massive amount of killing that was going on. The ground was littered with bodies and kits. And I die a lot.

Why not? EA patches have a history of nasty surprises. Just not in this particular case. Thanks everyone else for the info.
