Re: would u be a cyborg?
I wouldnt, i like to be able to pass metal detectors without beeping.
And if people started grafting metal to our bodies to enhance this or that and get weapons we would have piles of dead people all over the place soon enough. And think of the spam mails... "Bigger is better, Add 15 inches hydralic dingdong to please your mate" So no. |

Oh, and would I want to be mechanically enhanced? Only if it gave me an ability that I wouldn't otherwise have. Having a gun built in to my hand (or shoulder or hip or whatever...) doesn't do anything for me, as I already have the ability to hold a gun. Now, if I lost a hand, I would be willing to replace it with something that would give me more ability than a plain ol' prosthetic replacement would give me. And I'll jump on the bandwagon, too: once I'm able to "jack in", I'll be needing a personal nurse to supervise my nutritive IV and to moniter my electronic muscle stimulation. My ass will be strapped to a TempurPedic chair/couch/bed for the long term!

So I can't have my Wolverine package (wireless network access chipset, hardened skeleton, nano-healing subsystem, and arm sheathed mounted carbon or nano-fiber blades)? Heck, I can surf the web now.... ![]() |

I just thought I would throw up this article and see what people think of it. I know that there are alot of cool ways to interface with computers now, like voice commands and hand genstures and even motion tracking the users eye. This one beats them all though.
