Who put the bump in the bump, bump, bump?
Who put the bump in the bump, bump, bump?
Who was that man? I'd like to shake his hand. He made me fall in love with TGeeee! [sung to the tune of "Who put the bomp (in the bomp, bomp, bomp?)", by Barry Mann - although I had the Me First and the Gimme Gimme version in my head while composing this particular post] But seriously guys, I just wanted to take a moment to let ya'll know how much I appreciate reading bumped posts and threads. There have been many a constructive and informative discussion that has previously taken place here; something that a lot of the newer members don't have access to because they are probably busy enough just trying to read most of the new posts. But, there be gold in them there posts. For some posts that are exceptional, for one reason or another, it's like getting to actually be there for the TG version of the Gettysburg Address, or Churchill's "We Will Never Surrender." To the new people here, always try to take a moment to read at least the first post of a bumped thread. Of course, you may not want to read the whole thread beginning to end, but by reading the first post, or couple of posts, you'll get some great insight to the breadth of opinion and background that runs through our little corner of the web. Lastly, it provides us all with one of the most important elements of a community; a shared experience and perspective. Bumping a great older thread helps provide the newer folk 'round here with some of the same thinking and commentary that helped shape and inform our veterans, to become the fantastic and enduring TGers that we have come to know and love. So, y'all have yourselves a good day now. And keep bumpin' those posts. Dice.

Talking about BF songs: "Me and my APC" (me and booby mcgee) would be a good one.
