Got a problem with my AA honour (9)

ok so i started playing on the MOUT mkenna mission and i kept getting minus scores for some reason without doing anything and my honour went down to 9. so it wont let me join the games. So is there anywhere else you can gain honour so i can play on the missions? I imagine i just have to complete the SF missions to gain honour.

Hehe, talk to Trooper about losing honor, I imagine he's figured out all the tricks for getting back to 10 by now

You lose experience points (and eventually an honor point) but shooting your teammates. Be real careful who you shoot at until you've figured out what the enemy looks like from a distance.

You need to look for servers with a minimum honor level of 1. I believe the default is 10 so you're probably locked out from them. The servers don't seem to be updated yet, but the US Army had official training servers with a maximum honor of 15 for the new guys to learn the ropes on, without the 80honor dudes on normal servers cursing at em for one reason or another.

You can play any mission to get honor points, not just the SF missions. You have to have 15 honor to get an SF slot (and use the special modded gun) on a SF mission.

its mainly because i barely know all the advanced controls, i mean to take the points what do you do just stand near it? When i was installing it is saw a key to all the controls is there any way to bring that back up? I dont even remember shooting any of my team mates which is the weirdest thing.

You need to stand next to the item and hold your "use" key (default e). Then a little green bar will appear near the top middle of your screen.. well, it'll be initially be empty but will fill up the longer you hold it.

http://www.americasarmy.com/downloads/manuals.php - the quickstart manual there has that keyboard shot you're talking about. You'll probably want to change the key binds as you get a little more familiar with the game.

The advanced controls, or the lack thereof, won't drop your honor. The only thing that will drop your honor is your fire button. :-)

im always medic and just a rifle man..i play the bridge crossings map cuase its small and short.

bridge crossing and any defense map for that matter will build your Honor real quick. I have hard time finding a server that i can jump on the defense without having honor lvl 50+'s just start rushing the offense lol

Thanks for the tips vulcan I have honor 12 from years back when I played for a few and just want to get to 15 so I can play on the TG server. My problem is all the servers I've played on I usually end up being less than useless and never getting any points as I'm always on the losing side and dead at the end.

Play sf_hospital and just stick to the IF slots.. Lots of points to be made on that map. If you have a good VIP, then the escort team will score high. If not, then the, uhhh.. other (I forget what they're called) side will.
