8 Man Squad
I saw this on Planet BF2 forums. Somehow they can make a 8-9 man squad.

Not sure I would want to lead an 8-man. 6 allows you to kit out for every situation while still maintaining some semblance of communication and coordination. Would be fun to try regardless...

I think there would be too much chaos in a squad that big. Its generally better to have 2 smaller squads. In the TG scrim in mashtuur we had 10 men defending the mosque in 2, 5 man squads and it seemed to work much better. The SLs could communicate in TS and talk through the CO as well.
With 2 smaller squads its also much easier to attack from 2 different sides. If one squad attempted this, you would have a squad leader only on one of the flanks making the other flank weak because nobody could spawn there. |
