Interested in joining a BF 2 clan

I would like to join a clan/group of people dedicated to teamwork and tactical play. A team that will always be organized and on point, if there are any available slots someone knows please let me know.

im not trying to sound mean or disrespectful....but how many of these threads you gonna make....

Okay to join a regular in house squad you need to be a supporting member...but the TG irregulars is being set up for those who can not afford or dont want to be a SM

From his previous posts (and please, WR7, correct me if I'm wrong) he's looking for something more than the house squads and scrims that TG offers; something more like a CAL experience.

I take it that you have played on our BF2 servers and aren't happy with what you've experienced. What didn't you like?

Or maybe you did have fun; what did you like and are looking for more of? I feel like most of us are here because we enjoy strategy and teamwork in our games, so I'm curious as to what you feel is missing.

No quite the contrary, yours is my favorite site, the teamwork is outstanding, I've just noticed there seems to be a more teamwork and tactics between the clans, and I want in one.

Just so we're on the same page, are you talking about the in-house "clans" that you see on our severs, like |TG-7th|, or "real" clans that have other tags?

If the former, then, yea, until you become an SM then the Irregulars are probably the place to look. I see you posted in that thread, so you'll be in on getting that started. Try to play on one of our Wednesday or Saturday password nights (check the SOP forums for the password) when there's just people that read the forums online. There's usually a higher level of teamwork in those games that will help to quench your thirst for more (or maybe make it worse?!).

If the later, then you'll have to venture out to other places. I don't think too many folks from "real" clans hang out here.

The pinnacle of our teamwork and tactics are our scrimmages. That's when we have pre-made squads and map tactics made out. Everyone generally knows their role a few days in advance of the game and is able to execute a plan when the round starts. It's beautiful

But they're just scrimmages, so we're not overburdened with all the drama and politics of the normal competitive leagues.

Also check out Tacticalconflict.com. That's owned by Tactical Gamer and there is a push to start leagues via TG. If I am correct, there are TG guys who are looking for pickups for the league?

Sounds great but now I've been banned, or something, it won't let me log on. I guess I made someone mad. That sucks thought this was gonna be an alright place.

What is the "Or Something"? There are a variety of reasons you might not be getting onto the server that are NOT ban-related.

You probably just got kicked to make room for a supporting, paying member. That is done automatically on TG's server.

WR7, the way it works is that if you are playing on a full server and a supporting member logs in to play then the server is set up to automatically kick a non-supporting member. Unfortunately EA has a standard message that really can't be changed and it tells you that you were kicked for excessive TK's. If the server isnot full and you are still having issues then PM a admin, like Pokerface about it.

Hello WR7,

If you are interested in joining a tactical squad, but would not like to pay money for it right now, you should check out the Irregulars. This is our WIKI. We are an organized team of players, and although we may not be as advanced as some of the In-House squads, we take pride in that we have a very relaxed and supportive attitude, but also that we can tear it up if we need to.

Head on over to the Irregular boards and if you would like to join, post in this thread.

The Irregulars are holding a practice tomorrow (Saturday) at 2pm EST. If you would like to come along, this will be on the Events Server. You can either send me a private message in my signiture, or give ChIck3nL3gz a pm.

On the other hand, make sure you read the SOP's and Rules in my sig, that will help you from getting 'banned' from now on!

If you have any questions make sure to talk to me or Chicken...
