Euro-night wednesday the 9th?

Hi guys,

Was just wondering if theres gonna be another Euro-night next wednesday, I so thought I would just start a new thread to get the discussion going.

Saw some comments on it being at the same night as PW-night, but dont know if that gave any greef to you. I had to log off way before the PW was implemented so cant really tell.

So: who up for another night of serverfilled shooting-fun on server 1 at around 20:00 (GMT+1). Perhaps we could cast a vote (in game) to play the new the new maps? (Dinescity, Karkand 2 and Abu Dhabi). Cant wait to play these on the server instead of checking them out on you own.

Edit: it seems Dines is out of the rotation. Any reason why?

Excellent initiative Pommetje. I'm going to try to be there. I had a go on Karkand 2(saturday 2nd Nov) on the US side and it seemed a bit unbalanced in Mec favour.

I believe Dines had a whole bunch of bugs, invisible walls, clipping errors etc(relayed from other payers who tried it the same day I had a go on Karkand2). Perhaps the map will be better when it s out of beta?

I missed it last week but i should be on this week. If the password was a problem we can always play on Server 2 that runs the exelent TG mod.

Could we have it 20:00 London time which i think is GMT+0?, i think it was that last time.

Thanks Pommetje for setting this up, after last weeks good playing.

We definitely should have a regular night with early euro playing. I think we still should try with Wednesdays. Even if it is a password night(usually sets in at around 1 am GMT=1) we should have had many hours with playing.

That’s right, last time we had it 8PM (GMT=0). So this time we would have it will be one hour earlier.

The mod is EXCELLENT! But I would rather try to play with the new maps now for some weeks, so I hope it could be on Server 1.

Offcourse we can, the server is up and running 24/7, so if you pick a date, I'll see if I can join.

Just that this wednesday was okay for me, thats the reason I proposed it (and the fact that it was held last wednesday).
Wgen I find the time I always check out TG first, and when no one is on I'll go Pub for sometime before checking TG out again.

Date and time as proposed, I'll be joining the server earlier though (hé I'm 1 hour ahead of you! ), somewhere around 19:00 my time (GMT+1).

Just one think that came to mind and i know i said it im my first post, but.....

Download the new maps please.

Just this afternoon I was playing with 2 guys of the JamaicanMafia on Omar, asked them whether they would like to play the new Karkand, got a positive reply, casted a vote and when the map loaded they where gone. I think they forgot they did not have the new maps (perhaps thought the server would upload it to them).

Would be a shame if some of you could not play because of this.

Definetely in. After last wednesdays great battle on Prime time Euro time, who am I to miss it. One thing though, I am a bit confused on the time. We start at approx 2000 hrs GMT=0, like the last wednesday, right?

Hey, Lucky Shot, I'll be waiting with the USMC LAV-25 APC on the 3rd floor, middle stairs of the TV-tower in Sharqi, get your MEC-chopper into the building and we can slug it out . We'll probably tear that TV-tower to pieces by the time we are done with eachother.

Uhmm,

I think a good time to start would be the same as ast week, which was 20:00 (GMT).

Absolutely Pom! You fly and I gun and we can hand Lucky his sore behind on a platter. I remember the fun shootout Cobra vs Havoc at Kubra last Euro-night.

When the real fighting starts, I would be happy to gun for you Pommetje. I've never tried playing seriously as a Cobra/Havoc gunner so that would be fun.
