Global Unlocks on LAN

Ok, ive unlocked three weapons online how do i use globalunlocks in lan? im the person creating the game is there a way to enable all of the unlocks????

I believe that if you set globalunlocks=1 then that will do it. In truth tho I have no idea.

There's an "Allow Global Unlocks" setting that will let you use the weapons you have unlocked. I've not heard of anything that lets you unlock everything anymore... there used to be a Python tweak, but that loophole was closed by one of the patches.

Thanks for the invite, as for the unlocks, how do i change it to "1" and where? cause if i goto create one in lan it dont give me an option

Oooo, true... for a LAN game, I'd have no clue. All my experience is with the dedicated server.

Haven't tried it, but try opening the console, and then putting in these commands:

sv.useGlobalRank 1
sv.useGlobalUnlocks 1
admin.restartMap (or admin.runNextLevel)

Try going in : ...\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default
open the file "ServerSettings.con" in notepad. (not wordpad!)
Goto line 55 and 56, change value of sv.useGlobalRank and sv.useGlobalUnlocks to 1. Odds are, if you have more then one folder in your profiles, you'll have to mod more then one account. And remember, backup your files!

(And btw, I didn't check yet, but I believe if you edit the unlocks file to allow all weapons and use the above method, you should get all weapons in lan games.)

Confirming: If you use the trick to have bots on a lan game, it should give all you weapons. Make sure everyone who's joining modified their files as needed.
